Jay Master : Through Air shipment of DHL, I have imported non alcoholic beverages from France like Non alcoholic wines, non alcoholic champanes, non alcoholic whiskey etc.. And i don't have an import license.. Now my Air shipment is stuck at Bombay, DHL customs since last 3 days.. And i have told them that these total 9 bottles are samples.. It's not for sale and its non alcoholic.. Its for my personal use. i have send them invoice and non alcoholic certificate from the company too.. But they are saying without Import license I can not get this.. Is the import license required? and i don't have it so what are the procedures to get it cleared.. pls help me out if you can..

Matheswaran.t: I would like to understand the procedures involved while exporting the imported goods found defective(duty paid and cleared). Can assist me? Do we need to approach RBI for GR or the corporate account? Any invoice value limitation are there to obtain from RBI If the shipment has 500 units, and found only 200 units are defective, is it possible to send only this good? Normally how long would it take complete the procedure? If you have any link or ppt on such procedure please share if you dont mind.
