Special documents required if any
This post is for beginners in logistics, freight forwarding companies or Customs brokers who are involved in international transportation by air deputed in an air freight department.
If any specific document is required for export, such document has to be obtained from exporter. For example, for export of liquid products, chemical items etc., MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) containing the complete details of export goods has to be attached. A copy of such document has to be accompanied along with export cargo. Fumigation Certificate, phytosanitary certificate etc. are some of the specific documents to be required as per the nature of cargo exporting. Continue reading below:
