Gauri: a person is engaged in providing transportation facility to its client. he collect goods from consignor and ensure its delivery to consignee and for this service he charges freight. transportation of goods are done through rail. as per my understanding he does not fall in the category of GTA service as goods are not transported through roads. kindly guide rate of gst applicable on his service. whether it will be 18% or 5%.
