karan: I am a last year student at Chandigarh University. We have some foreign exchange students here from Kenya. After talking to them, I realized there is an opportunity of importing premium quality fruits from Kenya and selling here in India. Sir, I need your guidance as I am totally new to import export business. Can you answer these questions? 1. What licenses do I need? 2. Is it possible to buy from Kenya and Sell in India? 3. What can be the estimated over all duty/taxes? (example, what would be estimated final price of a fruit in India which, lets say, is worth 100 rupees per kilo in Kenya?) 4. What is the procedure of selling in India? Are there organizations that help in selling Agro products or selling will be totally dependent on marketing and sales of my company?
