Suresh Kumar Sah: I have been exporting chywanprash and amla candy from Pune since last 2 years in small quantity to Germany. I am a merchant exporter. I now want to import HERBAL TEA from Nepal and then export the same herbal Tea to Germany. Do i need to obtain Import license ti import Herbal Tea from Nepal. When i import herbal tea from Nepal i will have to pay custom duty. Can I get back this amount when i export the same product? Looking for your advice and guidance.

neerav: I am planing for small start up for exporting tea to eastern European markets. Currently I have less knowledge about tea but I have sensed a great opportunity towards exports of small packet tea to cafe's in eastern Europe. It would be a great help if you could share some light on hassles exporting small quantities of tea from India to Russia/ armenia and similar countries in these regions. My major concerns are logistics and payment collection.
